Who we are: We are a community of people committed to celebrating the glory of God through lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are deeply humbled by Christ’s work for us and overwhelmed by His continued pursuit of us. As for us, we are poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for us. (Psalm 40:17) Why we exist: We exist to glorify God by treasuring Jesus Christ above all things. We exist to spread a passion for Godward worship by the proclamation and application of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel Coalition
We are thrilled to be active members in the Orange County Chapter of The Gospel Coalition. We hold to their Confessional Statement and agree whole-heartedly with their approach to a gospel-centered ministry.
Church is not a building or a place you go once a week. Instead, church is an identity given to people who have been genuinely transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see the church come together with a common goal to grow in love for our Savior Jesus and one another. A lifegroup setting is one avenue the Lord is graciously using to bring this about in ...

In other words, we want you to understand that you are serving from a place of righteousness and not serving for a place of righteousness. Ministry with lasting fruit comes from an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and a radical awareness of His performance for you. For that reason, we would like you to have been attending Roots for 3-6 months before serving in ...
The “gospel” literally translated from Greek means “glad tidings” or “good news”, and the good news is this: God the Son, Jesus Christ, suffered the consequence of sin in place of all sinners by being crucified on a Roman cross. He then rose again just three days later conquering sin and death. By conquering sin on our behalf, He has paved the way for you to be found blameless before a holy God. God desperately desires to have a real, personal and intimate relationship with you! But there is a problem-by your very nature you’re a sinner. ...
The reality of Christ triumphing over death is the biblical and historical bedrock of our faith. It’s the promise of God that gives credence and power to all the other promises. The resurrection of Christ makes our hope living because Christ (our hope) is not dead. Death has died, Christ has won! Our aim this […]
